NEWS: HORRY & GERORGETOWN COUNTY SCHOOLS WILL BE CLOSE ON WEDNESDAY

All public schools in Horry and Georgetown counties will be closed Wednesday.

In Horry County, however, all 12-month district/school employees are asked to report to work as conditions allow at their normal contracted times, according to an announcement Tuesday afternoon.

The Georgetown County schools are closed for students and staff.

The Georgetown district will decide Wednesday afternoon about Thursday’s schedule, according to Ray White district spokesman.

Horry County schools officials on Tuesday also cancelled all afterschool activities, except for afterschool childcare programs.

NEWS: KANYE PARTIES FOR "COLLEGE DROPOUT" 10 YR ANNIVERSARY WITH KIM

Kanye West celebrated the ten year anniversary of his debut album, The College Dropout, with his bride-to-be Kim Kardashian at Nobu in Hollywood. The well heeled couple were photographed looking at a cake decorated with the Dropout bear on the front of the album. 

The "Black Skinhead" rapper also tweeted a series of messages on the anniversary, where he promised that he would continue to break down doors.

NEWS: COULD THIS BE TRUE DRAKE TALKS "CARTER V" IS ON THE WAY

Although it's been quiet for Lil Wayne's name when it comes to talk of who holds the top spot in Hip-Hop presently, he is still a very accomplished artist who has more to offer to the history and legacy of the music industry.  While Drake and Nicki Minaj have carried the torch and continued to shine in the spotlight, Wayne has been a little more low-key recently, but it looks like that is about to change.

Fans have been eagerly awaiting a new album from Weezy, and based off of a very vague Twitter post my Drake, his next project may actually be closer to release than fans realized.  Drake simply tweeted, "CARTER V," as if to remind the public not to forget about the new album from Lil Wayne.  Check out Drake's tweet above

NEWS: TAHIRY FIRES BACK AT AMINA

Amina Buddafly wasn't too happy with Tahiry providing her husband with advice after she announced that she was pregnant on part 2 of last night's "Love & Hip-Hop" season 4 reunion show, and let it be known to Tahiry and the world via Twitter.  Amina made the announcement which took Peter completely by surprise and he wound up exiting the stage as a result.  Cameras caught him backstage listening to advice from Tahiry, who suggested that he first apologize publicly to his ex-girlfriend of 13-years, and baby mama, Tara.  The advice that Tahiry gave to Amina's man didn't sit too well with her and she let her opinion be known publicly.

NEWS: MASE SPEAKS ON ALMOST SMACKING J. COLE

Mase is back in Hip-Hop and doesn't mind competing with the younger generation.

In an interview with Detroit's Hot 107.5, the rapper talked about his return to music, his time as a pastor and his issue with J.Cole.

When asked if he's a fan of the new generation of Hip-Hop, the rapper points out a few favorites like Meek Mill, Drake and Kanye West. He also added that he likes J.Cole when the rapper isn't talking about him.

On his platinum album Born Sinner, the Cole mentions the rapper on the track "Forbidden Fruit." "Cause a nigga poppin' like Harlem in the nine-seven/ way before Mase was a reverend." When Ma$e saw Cole, he thought about slapping him but decided to let it go because 'he's just a kid.'

"Ï like J.Cole when he's not taking shots at me. I saw him one say and I was gonna hit him but I was too grown to be knocking light skin people out."he said."But that's my generation. If we see you and you say something on a record, it's action, but when I saw him I thought he's a kid he don't get it."

The rapper also talks about burying the hatchet with Jim Jones and working on new music.

NEWS: WAS MENDEECEES RELEASED FROM PRISON?

The case of Medeecees Harris may be a free man according to recent reports.

The Love and Hip Hop star was arrested in January 2013 and charged with narcotics conspiracy and money laundering. Over the summer, rumors surfaced about Harris facing 20 years in prison and even reports that he was already sentenced. None of the rumors were true as we saw on the past season of LHHNY. Fiance Yandy Smith voiced repeatedly that Harris didn't even have a bail hearing until October.

Now it looks like Harris may have been released quietly sometime last year. Uptown Magazine has reported that his co-defendant Ronald Walker pleaded guilty to the same charges Harris faced and will do 10 years in federal prison. The magazine also noted that since November 2013, no public records were made for Harris and his attorney has stated that Harris isn't in federal custody.
